Teen Mom star Nelson Thomas pulled from car fire
MTV personality Nelson Thomas was dragged from his burning car after being involved in a terrifying roadside smash. Footage shows the moment heroic rescuers saved him from the wreck after his vehicle burst into flames, he's since praised them for "risking their own lives to save mine".

He's appeared on several TV shows, including Teen Mom and The Challenge, but what happened earlier this month certainly wasn't scripted reality.
Nelson revealed that he was involved in the horrifying ordeal, thought to have taken place in Austin, Texas, just days ago.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old shared pictures of his gruesome injuries as well as a nail-biting video from his rescue.
He was trapped inside his burning saloon car after it appeared to collide with a structure at the side of a busy main road.

Detailing the incident, Nelson wrote: "I was involved in a car accident."
Thanking his rescuers, he said: "I want to thank [them] for being on the scene and filming my rescue.
"I am forever grateful to [them] for pulling me out of a burning vehicle, risking their own lives to save mine.
"Words can’t explain how grateful I am to be alive. God is truly great and he has you in his hands no matter who you are."

Giving fans an update on his condition, he added: "I’m in high spirits and getting stronger.
"This will be a long road to recovery but to my fans, friends and family please keep me in your prayers. 3/5/2023."
He showed pictures of himself laying in a hospital bed, along with pictures of his terrifying injuries all over his body.
Fans and friends were amongst those using his post to send messages of support and well-wishes to Nelson.

Pal Cory Wharton, who starred alongside Nelson on both The Challenge and Teen Mom, also shared his message of support with him.

Cory wrote on his Instagram Story: "So thankful for the angels looking over my brother & the people that helped him get pulled out of his car."
"We live to see another day," he added. "It's just setting you up for an even bigger comeback." (sic)
One of his rescuers detailed the operation on ESPN’s Adam Schefter’s podcast, explaining his Uber driver alerted him of the crash.
"He’s like, ‘This guy crashed,’ and I look to my right and there’s a car, if you were to picture it, under a bridge’s pillars. His car is head-on. He hit the pillar and his car is in flames."
