What exactly does DDoS mean and what protection do we offer?

Why do I need a backup and how do I create one?
Creating a backup protects you from losing your game progress. There are many possible causes and not all of them are influenced by your actions. This is why we recommend regularly creating backups. The creation of a backup is quite simple. You can find a corresponding menu item "Backup" in the game server menu. In addition, there are also mods or plugins that can create backups automatically, which are then available via FTP on the server.
How do I change server settings?
You can simply adjust your desired server settings in our web interface (e.g. whether you want villages, NPCs, animals etc. on your seed or not; changing the max build height). After you’ve logged into our website, you can find all needed menu items on the left side and the options below.
Which infos are available about the map of Satisfactory?
The world (map) of Satisfactory is a gigantic 30 km² big and consists of 4 biomes: deserts, forests, lakes, grass fields and mountains with caves.The landscape can neither be terraformed nor reshaped in any way. There is no changing weather, but a day and night rhythm.Take good care, because you will meet creatures and pioneers that are not well-disposed towards you.
Does Satisfactory have automatic copies of my savegames?
Yes, Satisfactory offers automated copies of the current savegame and stores them directly on your PC and server.In our easy-to-use web interface of your GPORTAL server you can set the interval between the automated copies of your savegames for Satisfactory.
How do I connect to a Satisfactory server?
To join a server in Satisfactory, simply use the new server manager. IMPORTANT: Before you can use the server, you have to switch your game to the experimental version in STEAM.
