Final Fantasy 14 currently has five unique Alliance Raids to conquer. Each set of Alliance Raids has three raids in which 24 players must join forces to defeat difficult bosses. Each expansion, including the base game, has added a new set of Alliance Raids.

You'll gain access to the first Alliance Raid, the Crystal Tower, at level 50. To unlock each Alliance Raid, you'll need to follow a specific quest line that can be difficult to find. Let's go over where you can start the questline to unlock each Alliance Raid, as well as which quests unlock each 24-man raid.

How To Unlock A Realm Reborn Alliance Raids
The first set of Alliance Raids focuses on the Crystal Tower. Here you will explore the tower and uncover the mysteries of the Allagan people.

To unlock A Realm Reborn Crystal Tower Alliance Raids, follow the questline listed below. You will be able to pick up the first quest, 'Legacy of the Allag', from the Outlandish Man in Mor Dhona.
Completion of the Crystal Tower raid series is required for continuing the Main Scenario Quests.

How To Unlock Heavensward Alliance Raids
The game's first expansion, Heavensward, features a set of Alliance Raids called the Shadow of Mhach, in which you will attempt to prevent the resurrection of the Shadow Queen, Scathach. You can accept the first quest in this series, 'Sky Pirates', from the Unquiet Trader in the Pillars. Then, follow the quests below to unlock each raid of the Shadow of Mhach series.

How To Unlock Stormblood Alliance Raids
The third series of Alliance Raids is the Return to Ivalice Raids, in which you will explore the ruins of Ivalice with Ramza and his family. In this throwback to Final Fantasy XII and Tactics, you'll face familiar foes as you explore the City of Rabanastre.
You can find the first quest in this chain, 'Dramatis Personae' from Keiten in Kugane. Follow the subsequent quests to unlock each section of this Alliance Raid; each quest required is listed below.
The Prima Vista can be accessed by speaking to Minegumo in Kugane (X:10.3, Y:12.1) to enter the airship landing, then speaking with Shuttle Pilot (X:10.0, Y:21.1).
